Illaria Liedtke
Illaria Liedtke is a junior at Rye Country Day School. She founded this initiative after spending a summer in China playing mahjong with her grandmother, an experience that sparked her passion for seniors’ rights and intergenerational connection. Beyond mahjong, she is a research intern at Columbia University and the Italian National Council of Research, where she studies the brain to address CNS diseases affecting millions, work she has presented at ISEF. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis and tackling challenging math problems.

Tancrede Weinstein is a junior at Rye Country Day School hailing from Westchester, New York. He is very interested in science research, molecular biophysics, and public purpose. In his free time, he enjoys playing Mahjong with the residents at Broadview Senior Living, pondering ethical and philosophical dilemmas, and reading on articles quantum cryptography.
